The Poly APD-80 EHS Cable for CS500 and Savi (Supports OLI) purposely made with an EHS (Electronic Hook Switches) in order to minimize the need for an HL10 handset lifter. It has an uttermost functions which are typically used on Grandstream phones. EHS allows you to remotely answer/hang-up and automatically taking calls. • Grandstream phones require firmware 1.0.4.23 or higher
• Select the APD-80 EHS by going to Menu > Config > Headset Type > Plantronics EHS
• Use a Plantronics 85638-01 cable to extend ADP-80 audio input to reach the headset jack on the Grandstream phone.
